Our goal is to bring the fun and adventure of riding to you. Our family-owned and operated ranch, set in native bushland just an hour and 10 minutes south of Sydney, and 30 minutes north of Wollongong, is a great place to enjoy a trail ride or a lesson. Our experienced ride leaders and instructors are keen to share their love of riding with people of all ages and experience levels. And safety is always our top priority. We have activities and classes designed especially for children. We also offer lessons for beginning and advanced riders of all ages. Facilities We want to make your visit with us safe and fun! We offer the following facilities: The Lazy Haze kiosk -- come and enjoy our range of hot and cold food prepared by our friendly staff. We also have specials each weekend. Barbecue and picnic facilities A gift shop -- purchase that special shirt, hat or other gift to take a bit of Darkes Forest home with you! Ample parking Helmets provided for all riders We're open seven days a week, all year round (except Christmas Day and New Year's Day).
